Vietnam vets volunteer to pack Thanksgiving meals

Members of Vietnam Veterans of America Sussex County Chapter # 1105 were among approximately 300 volunteers gathered Nov. 25 at the Mountaire Farms plant in Millsboro to pack 10,000 Thanksgiving dinner boxes for families in need.
Each box contains a Mountaire roaster and supplemental fixings purchased and donated by patrons of local grocery stores.
The chapter sends the strong hands and happy faces of Vietnam veterans each year to help those who are less fortunate.
