Village Improvement Association honors George Cole

July 17, 2019

The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach presented an engraved brick to George Cole, former Sussex County Council member, in honor of his 32 years of service to the council and for his support of the VIA.

The brick, engraved with his name, will be placed on the exterior walkway around the VIA clubhouse at Grenoble Street and the Boardwalk.

The VIA is a women’s civic and charitable organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Commemorative bricks are one of the many fundraising projects the VIA organizes each year to support more than 25 area charitable and educational organizations.

Engraved bricks may be purchased for $150. For more information or to purchase a brick, go to www.rehobothbeachvia.org and click on How You Can Help.
