A vote for Huxtable is a vote for us

September 9, 2022

There are some issues that most of us who live in the 6th Senate District can agree on: thoughtful development, protection of our water resources, infrastructure, housing and medical support, and defining and preserving a quality of life for us and future generations. All of these are issues that Russ Huxtable tackled and advanced before he decided to run for office. They were not convenient punch issues to place on a flyer.

For Delaware native Russ Huxtable, thoughtful development means putting our region’s health, welfare and future ahead of developer interests. Protection of our water means recognizing its importance for everything we do, from fishing and boating to drinking and bathing our children. Meeting and talking with Russ Huxtable last week, I learned that these District 6 and Sussex County (and Delaware-wide) issues have been his life’s work, in which he has demonstrated success, thanks to his ability to work well with people, organizations, businesses and politicians alike.
