Vote Lee Revis-Plank, Emory West in Milton

February 25, 2021

The voters of the Town of Milton are very fortunate this year. Four residents have filed for two council seats. They are well-qualified for the offices, but we only get to pick two. Here are my two choices.

Lee Revis-Plank: Lee has been a resident of Milton’s Wagamon’s West Shores since 2014. She graduated class valedictorian of my high school class. Though I did not know her then, we have become very good friends since she moved to Milton. Lee quickly became involved in Milton community activities. She is serving on the town’s historic preservation commission. Lee also is very involved with the Milton Historical Society. She quickly became a leader in these two positions. Lee became interested in Milton community activities when Milton became her home, and she is willing to devote her time and talents as a Milton Town Council member. I know Lee will serve with the best interest of Milton’s residents at heart. She is more than willing to share her experiences and knowledge, and work hard to make Milton all it can be.

Emory West: Emory is a Milton resident born and bred. Emory has a long-standing interest in Milton’s community activities. He is a former council member and is seeking to return to that office. I first became acquainted with Emory while working on Milton’s 200th Anniversary Celebration. Emory proved to be an invaluable member of the committee. He has become a talented master of ceremonies at the Summer Concerts in Milton Memorial Park. As council member, he acted with the best interest of the town’s people at heart. He is largely responsible for the town’s emergency management plan. Emory has been and will be a strong advocate working with other state and local officials for the best interest for all Miltonians. Lee and Emory are two diverse candidates who will work together in leading Milton forward as Milton Council members. Please join me in voting for these two fine folks to represent Milton. Please remember to vote March 6 at Goshen Hall from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Remember to wear your mask, and social distancing is a must.
