Walk raises funds for MS

May 30, 2018

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation held their annual walks May 18 and 19. The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation walk was organized by the Sussex County MS Shore Group and was held in Colonial East development. The Sussex County MS Shore Group helps those with the disease keep active and stay aware of new developments to help with their condition. The heavy rain prevented the walk, but the Shore Group gathered in the Colonial East Clubhouse and made the event a fundraising social get-together.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society Greater Delaware Valley Chapter's 17th annual walk was held in Pot-Nets Lakeside. The National MS Society walks help fund research and provide program services for MS patients nationwide. Robert Tunnell will match what Tunnell residents raise for the walk.
