Walter T. Decyk Jr., loved the water

Walter T. Decyk Jr., 72, of Millsboro, formerly of Wilmington, passed away  Monday, March 4, 2019.

He was born in Wilmington Dec. 9, 1946, son of the late Walter T. Decyk Sr. and the late Idella (Hand) Decyk.  Walter was a graduate of Salesianum High School in Wilmington.  Mr. Decyk spent his entire career at Dell-Steel as a tool maker.  

Walter enjoyed life near the water. He loved to fish, crab and going to the local boat shows.  Mr. Decyk was an enthusiastic sport fan of all Philadelphiasport teams, especially the Eagles.  Walter also enjoyed eating at the various restaurants throughout the area.

He is survived by two children, Walter T. DecykIII and his partner Joseph Freeman of Millsboro, and Kelly Ann Decyk and her fiancé William Arnold of Milton; four grandchildren, Jacob, Luke, Helaina and Ava; and two sisters, Elizabeth Hannah and Diane Decyk.  Walter is also survived by two nephews, George and Michael Hannah, and the mother of his two children, Elaine Sharp.
