A wanted man has been charged in connection with several produce stand burglaries that happened in August.
Khalil Reid, 21, was arrested in Wicomico County after police had been searching for him in connection with the produce stand burglaries. In August, Reid went to several stands in the Millsboro and Laurel areas, and took money from the cash boxes, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.
Reid was charged with eight counts of felony possession of burglary tools, attempt to commit theft under $1,500 victim 62 years of age or older, and other theft charges.
He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $5,906 cash bond.
