The Delaware Watercolor Society fall exhibition will open with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 8, in the gallery at Nassau Valley Vineyards and Winery, 32165 Winery Way, Lewes.

On display will be 32 paintings curated by renowned watercolor artist Deborah Conn. Prizes will be presented for the top three, along with merit commendations.

When selecting and awarding paintings, Conn said she looks for both technical ability and emotional impact. She is a watercolor instructor and a signature member of the National Watercolor Society, Northwest Watercolor Society, Women in Watercolor, Potomac Valley Watercolorists, Baltimore Watercolor Society and Virginia Watercolor Society.

“We sincerely thank Deborah for her time and expertise in helping us display the best work of our talented members," said Brad Hastings, DWS president.

The show will run through Saturday, Oct. 31.
