We’ll all be trapped by development

September 10, 2019

Developers are being blamed for the unbridled growth at the beaches, and rightfully so.  However, another group is just as guilty, and that is Sussex County Council.  Five members with only two representing the beaches. Why does council approve those plans without requiring developers to improve infrastructure?

You can’t keep approving developments without improving the roads.  Route 1, Route 24, Route 9, Plantation Road are all jammed. Adding hundreds of homes and hundreds of vehicles to those roadways will only worsen the  congestion we already have.

I know the other three members of the council don’t care about what happens here, but we need to stop building before a real crisis hits us and we’re trapped.
