Weather causes delays, cancellations of events

Inclement weather has resulted in the cancellation or delay in the following Cape Region events.

- St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Lewes has cancelled “The Charlie Brown Christmas Jazz Concert” scheduled for tonight, Saturday, Dec. 9. Check back at stpeterslewes.org for updates about a rescheduled performance.

- Ignite yoga in Rehoboth Beach has cancelled classes for Saturday, Dec. 9.

- Indian River School District has announced all school events for Saturday, Dec. 9, have been cancelled.

- The Delaware Day Fourth Grade Competition awards ceremony scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Delaware Public Archives in Dover has been postponed.

- The Dewey Beach Town Council meeting scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, has been postponed. Mayor TJ Redefer said the meeting has been rescheduled to 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 15.

- Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding Horse Show scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 9, has been cancelled.
