A Well-Strung Christmas comes to Clear Space Nov. 18

November 14, 2018

Looking for the perfect kickoff to the holiday season? Look no further than Rehoboth’s own Clear Space Theatre, which will host Well-Strung, the New York City-based singing string quartet, for A Well-Strung Christmas at 9 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 18.

The show features the quartet’s signature pop-classical spin on holiday music. Selections range from traditional favorites like “Silent Night” and “Sleigh Ride,” to “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and George Michael’s “This Christmas.”

Carl Schloegel, chair of Clear Space Theatre’s board of directors and an enthusiastic Well-Strung fan, said, “We are incredibly excited to bring Well-Strung back to Clear Space for a holiday concert! Last year’s concert was a sell-out, and we’re sure this year’s will be just as popular – and, if possible, even more entertaining. There just can’t be a better way to get into the holiday spirit than to sit back and enjoy as Well-Strung romps its way through an evening of its signature sounds.”

The singing quartet includes Edmund Bagnell on first violin, Christopher Marchant on second violin, Daniel Shevlin on cello, and Trevor Wadleigh on viola. Their eclectic appeal has garnered invitations to perform at the Vatican, the House of Blues in New Orleans, and at a gala for then-President Obama.

Tickets range from $35 to $100. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.clearspacetheatre.org or call 302-227-2270.
