Why did Bayside disband committee?

February 25, 2021

I was glad to see the article about the Bayside homeowners lawsuits published in your Feb. 19 edition. While Bayside is a wonderful community, over the past year or so, the Freeman-controlled HOA Board of Directors has made some questionable decisions.

For instance, the BOD created a transition committee consisting of a number of talented homeowners with experience in various fields to help with the transition to homeowner control of the BOD. When that committee brought up a number of serious issues and dubious decisions made by the BOD going back to Bayside’s inception, the current BOD decided to disband the committee. To anyone thinking of purchasing a home in a Freeman developed community; make sure you know what you’re getting into.
