William ‘Buck’ Williams, maintenance technician

William Gordon “Buck” Williams, 66, of Lewes passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born in Elkton, Md., the son of the late William Frank and Alberta (Lloyd) Williams.

He worked at various apartment complexes as a maintenance technician for over 25 years before retiring in 2012. Bill was an avid fisherman, enjoyed picking and eating crabs, as well as betting on the horses, especially at Delaware Park. Most important to Bill was his family, for he was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Terry Williams and Bobby Williams; and two sisters Bonnie Dowdy and Roxann Way.
 
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Barbara “Babs” Williams; his children William G. Williams Jr. and Angela Dunlap; two sisters Tina Williams and Tammy Talmo; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
 
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
