William A. ‘Egg Man’ Bowlin, free-spirited

William A. “Egg Man” Bowlin, 51, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, at Deer’s Head Hospital Center, Salisbury, Md., surrounded by his friends and blasting Pink Floyd.

Allen was nicknamed "Eggie" during his younger years in Rock Hall, Md. He worked at Friendly's in Rehoboth and Lowe’s in Lewes. He traveled throughout the south, never really settling down. Allen was a free-spirited rolling stone.

The family would like to thank the staff of Deer’s Head Hospice for taking such good care of Allen for 16 years.

Allen is survived by his sisters, Cindy Bowlin and John of Milford, and Nancy M. “Missy” Jefferson and her husband William of Milford; three aunts: Linda Levin of Dover, Joan and Jay Borel of Arkansas and Sandy Morris of Hartly; his nieces and nephews: Erica, Frank, C.J., Casey, Gordy, Kelsey and Alicia; and his great-nieces and great-nephews: Oran, Aidan, J.R., Kaylee, Aubrey and Alexline. Many cousins and good friends.
