William ‘Joe’ Robinson Jr., proud veteran
William “Joe” Robinson Jr., 80, of Riverdale Park, Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2019, surrounded by his friends and his loving and devoted wife Cindy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna Robinson; son Joey Robinson; granddaughter Jennifer Robinson; sister Patricia Angle and her husband Ken Angle.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy (McMonigle) Robinson; loving daughter Cynthia Robinson (John); two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Cameron Norris; brother Bud Robinson (Phyllis), sister Barbara Christian (Ray); and many nieces and nephews.
He was retired from Millwright Local 1545, proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps; and was a member of Masonic Lodge 34, Dagsboro, American Legion Post 28 and a devoted lifetime volunteer charter member at AMVETS 2, Millsboro.
A Celebration of life will be held at American Legion Post 28, 38716 Legion Road, Millsboro, Saturday, Sept. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Joe’s name to American Legion Post 28.
