Women’s Club of Milton holds successful bingo event

September 11, 2021

The Women’s Club of Milton hosted a sold-out crowd at the newly renovated Milton Fire House for its Aug. 31 bingo event.

Upon entering, guests picked up their bingo packets and door prize tickets while searching out their lucky seats. Food sales went at a brisk pace while the crowd waited for the games to begin. Extra bingo cards were available for purchase, in addition to 50-50 chances and raffle tickets.

The lucky 50-50 winner received more than $300 and graciously donated it back to the women’s club.

During the break, everyone had an opportunity to enjoy delicious homemade desserts donated by club members.

Proceeds from the evening will be used to help fund the annual scholarship awards and other club projects. To learn more about where the club directs its contributions, go to womensclubofmilton.org.

Club members thank everyone who supported the event including Paula Costanzo, event chair; Ellen Passman, bingo caller, and all members of the fundraising committee. It was a long-awaited fun evening for all.
