Woodrow L. ‘Wood’ Souders, enjoyed fishing

Woodrow L. “Wood” Souders, 64, of Trevose, Pa., previously of Wilmington and Lewes, passed away at home Wednesday, March 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Wood was born in Allentown, Pa., to Doris J. Souders and the late Arthur C. Souders Sr.

He attended Whitehall High School and Drexel University. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, and riding his Harley. 

Wood will be deeply missed by his children, Tiffany R. Winkle, Daniel O., and Alex C. Souders; his grandchildren, Braxton C. and Madison T. Winkle; his mother, Doris J. Souders; his siblings, Linda L. Anthony, Susan J. Zettlemoyer (Ed), Carl C. Souders (Elizabeth), Dr. Jennifer Souders (Paul Gillingham), and Adam C. Souders; and a host of nieces and nephews. He will also be sadly missed by his former spouse, Patti J. Stewart. Wood was predeceased by his brother, Arthur C. Souders Jr. and his father, Arthur C. Souders Sr.

Interment will be held privately. A Celebration of Life to honor Wood will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
