Woody’s Dewey Beach Bar and Grill took home the trophy at the ninth annual Restaurant Games, held Aug. 6 at Dickinson Avenue bayside next to the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach.
The event, hosted by the Dewey Business Partnership, saw 15 area restaurants compete against each other in tray races, set-clear, ball pass and dizzy bats. Rain cancelled the raft races.
Also participating were The Starboard, Northbeach, Hammerheads Dewey and Dockside, Dogfish Head, Bethany Blues Lewes and Bethany, Mug & Spoon, Jimmy’s Grille, the Rusty Rudder, Victoria’s Restaurant, Rehoboth Beach Country Club, Arena’s and MezCali.
Dewey Business Partnership Executive Director Kelly Ranieri said the event raised about $2,800 to fund family-friendly events.
