A Millsboro man faces charges after police said he was disorderly and under the influence Sept. 13 at the McDonald’s near Long Neck.
Levi D. Stilwell, 53, of Millsboro was in his vehicle yelling and screaming at the McDonald’s on Route 24 at 9 p.m. when someone flagged down a passing trooper to report him, said Sgt. Richard Bratz of the Delaware State Police.
Upon contact with Stilwell, Bratz said, he appeared be intoxicated and showed multiple signs of impairment. A DUI investigation was initiated and a computer inquiry revealed six previous driving under the influence convictions, Bratz said.
Stilwell was taken to Troop 7 in Lewes and charged with 7th offense driving under the influence, a felony, as well as failing to comply with taking photos and fingerprints. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $8,000 cash bond.
