Zoey Ann Lennox, Millsboro toddler

Zoey Ann Lennox, 16 months, of Millsboro gained her heavenly wings Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family at Nemours/Alfred I duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington.

Zoey was born into a large, loving family April 11, 2018, in Lewes, daughter of Keith J. Lennox and Katrina A. Brown. Her big beautiful blue eyes, her smile and laugh will never be forgotten by her family. As she began to speak her first words: dada and mama, her personality began to emerge. Her unforgettable wave will remain like a handprint on the hearts of her loved ones. 

Zoey was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Guy Lennox; and two aunts, Jennifer Morris and Rebecca Allen.  In addition to her mommy and daddy, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Dawn and William Brown; paternal grandmother, Nancy Pope; eight siblings, Tyler Lennox, Hailey Lennox, Marshall Lennox, Aubrey Lennox, Alexis Lennox, Dakota Lennox, Jennifer Lennox and Rebecca Lennox; a sister who will soon be born, Abigail Lennox; an uncle, Chris Lennox and his wife Genevieve; an aunt, Samantha Brown and her fiancé Josh Justice; and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Thursday, Aug. 29, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends and family may visit after 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.
