‘Hi! I’m Elvis’ author to sign books Aug. 7

July 28, 2021

Elvis has a cute fuzzy face; he doesn’t have an opposable thumb. He’s not yet a year-and-a-half old, but he’s full of wisdom. He hasn’t read a book; yet he has written one.

Local author James VanSciver will sign copies of his latest book, “Hi! I’m Elvis,” from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7 at Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach.

A tri-color Shetland Sheepdog, Elvis shares his ideas about making friends, staying healthy and playing nice, as well as other sound advice for readers of all ages. With each lesson, comes a cuddly picture of the 8-week-old canine showing readers how his guidance looks in action.

In addition to the instruction, readers can get a personalized signed copy by Elvis himself. Copies are limited so don’t miss this opportunity to get a commemorative book. Don’t end up being nothing but a hound dog.

Browseabout Books is at 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
