‘Mank’ opening at the Cinema Art Theater Nov. 27

Starting Friday, Nov. 27, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater will present “Mank,” a biographical drama about the formative years in Hollywood’s 1930s and ‘40s sound era and the scenarist of a famous iconic work.

Award winning Director David Fincher (“Gone Girl,”,“The Social Network”) brings to life the story of chaotic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz - known as Mank (played by Gary Oldman) as he battles with director/actor Orson Welles during the making of iconic masterpiece “Citizen Kane.”  Filmed in black and white, the supporting cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Charles Dance, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, and Tom Burke.

Screening times are 4 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27; 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov, 28; 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov 29; 1 and 4 p.m., Wednesday, Dec 2); and 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec.3. Admission is $8 for members and $11 for future members. Customers are encouraged to purchase tickets online at rehobothfilm.com. If seats are available, tickets can be purchased at the theater starting 30 minutes prior to each screening.
