Poultry and Pandemics

According to Dr. Michael Greger, founder of Nutritionfacts.org, and author of HOW TO SURVIVE A PANDEMIC, our next pandemic will originate in the foul environment of confined poultry farms and slaughter houses.  The scenario he paints, not IF but WHEN the next pandemic emerges, is truly horrifying.   (https://youtu.be/_QwcCTbKFM8)

But there is something we can do about it now—eliminate CAFOs (confined animal feeding operations) by stopping our demand for poultry! Yes, no more eating chicken, turkey, duck and all eggs! You will not waste away, you will not starve, you will not lose muscle mass, you will not become malnourished! My husband and I and many friends and relatives have dropped ALL animal products and we are thriving on WHOLE PLANT-BASED meals of vegetables, beans, whole grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, mushrooms and fruit.

According to Dr. Neal Barnard founder and president of The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM.ORG), poultry is fat, filthy and unfit for human consumption. It can easily and healthfully be replaced by Plant-Based eating. Poultry is nonessential!
