Weather causes delays, cancellations of events
Heavy snow Dec. 9 stuck to many of the grapevines at Nassau Valley Vineyard near Lewes. Today’s snow event is only predicted to bring 1 to 3 inches to the Cape Region.

Inclement weather has resulted in the cancellation or delay in the following Cape Region events.
- Indian River School District has cancelled all its afterschool activities for Friday, Dec. 15 except the Beast of the East wrestling tournament.
- Cape Henlopen School District has cancelled all evening activities for Friday, Dec. 15, including practices and the Mariner Middle School choral performance at Winter WonderFest.
