Tidemark FCU sponsors local Little Leagues
For the third consecutive year, Tidemark Federal Credit Union is sponsoring Little League teams throughout Sussex and Kent counties. The sponsorships, which run during the 2019 spring/summer season, consist of individual team sponsors, signage on the outfield fence at the ballparks, and equipment.Tidemark Federal Credit Union sponsors Little League teams for Georgetown, Woodbridge, Nanticoke, Laurel, Lewes, Milton, Lower Sussex and Milford. “Supporting our local Little Leagues is a great way to give back to the community we serve,” said Pam Fleuette, CEO of Tidemark FCU. Free pretzels at Philly Pretzel April 26
Friday, April 26, is National Pretzel Day, and the Philly Pretzel factory is celebrating. Every visitor that comes into the store that day will receive one regular-size salted pretzel. Also, while supplies last, visitors will receive a scratch and win ticket with a chance to win a dream vacation and other valuable prizes plus lots of freebies and discounts. Also to be offered will be special pricing of 15 regular salted pretzels for $5 to take home and share with others. National Pretzel Day started in 2003 in Pennsylvania. Applebee’s raises funds for charities
The Rose Group, a leading franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar restaurants, announced that it raised $14.5 million for various charities throughout Delaware, Maryland Pennsylvania and New Jersey since 2010.
Of that amount, Its five Applebee’s locations along the eastern shore of Delaware and Maryland raised a combined total of $894,000 through fundraisers for a variety of nonprofits.
