The Moorings at Lewes to host art reception for Ruth Ann Kaufman Oct. 26

The Moorings at Lewes will host an art reception with wine and cheese from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 26, for The Moorings residents and guests, to view works on display by local artist Ruth Ann Kaufman. Artwork will also be available for purchase. To attend, guests are asked to RSVP to Jean Carpenter at The Moorings at Lewes, 302-644-7998. 

Kaufman works in watercolors and watercolor combined with other media. She is inspired by nature, animals and color, and she demonstrates a variety of watercolor techniques. She is a member of the Cape Artists of Lewes and has been accepted into numerous juried exhibits, including Delaware Watercolor Society exhibits at Nassau Valley Vineyards, Biggs Museum of American Art and Wilmington University, Dover campus. Previously a resident of Princeton, N.J. for more than 20 years, Kaufman now resides in Lewes.
