As a former Republican member of the Delaware House of Representatives, I am writing in support of Sen. Ernie Lopez for re-election. I have voted for both Republican and Democratic candidates over the years, always on the basis of which candidate can best work effectively to solve problems and to improve our lives here in Sussex County.
Ernie Lopez is that kind of legislator. During his six years as our state senator, he has built a record of achievement, on a bipartisan basis, in areas including: healthcare, education, preserving open space, promoting our local businesses, and just generally helping his constituents with individual problems. He gets it done! On a personal basis I have come to know Ernie as a very kind and compassionate person, who cares deeply about helping others. Please help him with your vote Nov. 6, so he can continue his service to us all.
