Sussex Consortium students to display artwork

Reception set for March 13
March 10, 2019

Students in the Sussex Consortium after-school arts program will host a reception of their work from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 13 in the Cape High cafeteria.

The exhibition showcases artwork students created during a VSA Delaware artist residency program facilitated by VSADE residency teaching artist Amanda More. Through the program, students were able to develop artistic skills and explore various materials and techniques.

VSA Delaware is an arts and disability organization whose purpose is to help create a society where people with disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts. The project was made possible through funding provided by the Carl M. Freeman FACES grant program. For information, contact Jennifer Gunther at jennifer@vsadelaware.org or 302-857-6699.
