Club helps Boy Scouts earn Model Railroad Merit Badge

The First State Model Railroad Club recently hosted 22 Boy Scouts from Maryland and Delaware to complete the requirements to earn the Model Railroad Merit Badge. Since 2003, the club has assisted 404 Boy Scouts in earning the Model Railroad Merit Badge.

The First State Model Railroad Club was formally organized July 9, 1985, to promote the hobby and educate the public on the important part railroads played in the development of the Delmarva region.
