20th RD Democratic Committee to meet April 18

The Representative District 20 Democratic Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. for refreshments and optional dinner at Fish On Restaurant in the Villages of Five Points. At 6 p.m., guest speaker will be Nathan A. Roby, assistant chief of fiscal and policy analysis for budget development and planning, Delaware Office of Management and Budget. The address is 17300 Village Main Blvd., Lewes. The RD 20 Democratic Committee welcomes the public.

Roby will present an overview of the proposed fiscal year 2020 state budget and address state budget issues. Roby has worked for the City of Wilmington as a budget analyst for four years and the Delaware Office of the State Treasurer as a policy analyst for a year and half. He currently works for the Delaware Office of Management and Budget.

Following  Roby’s presentation, RD 20 Democratic Committee will conduct its monthly business meeting. Registered Democrats are welcome to attend. RD 20 is the local Democratic Party organization for residents in the Lewes, Milton, Belltown, Coolspring and Harbeson areas of Sussex County. For more information, email kerrythalheim@aol.com
