Winter-Break Field Hockey Skills Clinic
Factory Sports Field Hockey Skills Clinic is a one-day event and will take place over the winter school break. Our coaching staff will ensure that participants learn new skills, gain valuable experience in various field hockey aspects, and most importantly – have fun!
The Skills Clinic will take place at Factory Sports in Lewes, DE and is open to beginners and players who are looking to improve their game.
Participants should expect to learn the following:
- Improved shot technique and the variety of shots
- Shooting and Passing while on the move
- Stick control
- Proper passing form
Participants are welcome to check-in by 8:45 am with an introduction to the coaching staff at 9:00 am
- 9:00 am Introduction | Warm-up
- 9:15 am Skill Stations
- 10:15 am Scrimmage Games
- 10:50 am Closing Comments
Participants in the 6th to 8th grade camp will be able to utilize this time to speak with current high school and future college field hockey players
Factory Sports is an indoor training facility. For the Skills Clinic we will be utilizing various training tools including side boards and goals.
Dates:
2nd to 5th Grades | Saturday, December 28th | 9:00 am-11:00 am
6th to 8th Grades | Saturday, December 28th | 12:00 pm-2:00 pm
Cost: $50 per participant
Equipment Needed: Sneakers, stick, shin and mouth guards.
