Dale Dooley Mills, loving grandmother

Dale Dooley Mills, 80, passed away March 11, 2020, surrounded by family. She was married to John Paul Mills of Glenolden. Dale was the daughter of the late Milton Lester and Anna (Knight) Hemingway.

Dale worked for 25 years for the Social Security Administration. She loved playing cards, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Walter Frederick (Buddy) Paulson (Judy). 

She is survived by her sons, Milton Lester Paulson (Bonnie) and Mark Robert Paulson (Erica) and her daughter, Debra Ann Groff (Richard); along with her stepdaughters, Janet Keaton (Willie), Joan Bruce (Richard) and Joyce Tilton (Thomas). She also had 13 grandchildren and their five spouses and four great-grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life is being held at Melson’s Funeral Home, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, Saturday, Aug. 8, 11 a.m.
