Thanks to Rehoboth officials for paving road

January 28, 2022

I would like to publicly thank Stan Mills, Sharon Lynn, Richard Byrne, Jay Lagree and Kevin Williams for their help in the paving of the road behind our Rehoboth Beach library.

At the end of last July, I wrote letters to the the mayor, city manager, director of public works and all of our commissioners to ask about repairing the road behind our library, where the only free parking for the library is now allowed.

It was full of pot holes, ruts, loose gravel and generally in very poor condition and had been that way for several years.

On Tuesday I went to get several books that had arrived that I had on "hold" for pick up when our library received them from several Delaware libraries. It was a most pleasant surprise to see a newly beautifully paved road behind the library!

It is nice to know that not only did I receive a reply from all of the above mentioned employees, but a "follow through" in fulfilling my request.
