Please vote in school board elections

May 3, 2022

We have an important opportunity to be a part of school improvement in our community. School board elections are to be held Tuesday, May 10. The right of citizens to vote for school board candidates is a responsibility that many have taken lightly in the past. If you have young children, or no children, in your district, it is in your best in interest to vote.

A school board’s goal is singular: To see that students get the best education possible. Candidates seeking school board positions should have the best interests of the students in mind. Good candidates will strive to give our students the tools they need to be thinking, involved citizens, regardless of the political direction they choose or religion they may serve.

Education is crucial in the development of our young people, which, in turn, has a great influence on our community and its future. Therefore, we all have an interest in voting in our district. Please vote on school board election day May 10!

It’s important for all members of the community.
