Lewes-area motorists should expect delays from 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 until 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, for work at the Savannah Road and Vikings Way traffic signal, according to a Delaware Department of Transportation release.
Modifications include activating the traffic loops and pedestrian crossing signals, realigning signal heads, upgrading signs and removing the temporary detection camera. These changes are expected to improve the operation and safety of the intersection.
Flaggers will be on site to direct motorists.
