Hearty in the Cause: Lewes 1776

Admission is $5.00 per person, and children under 12 are free.
This immersive living history program will usher visitors back to a tumultuous period in Lewes’ past: Spring 1776. Hearty in the Cause will highlight the various experiences of those in town and afloat with historical interpreters, demonstrations, tradespeople, and our friends from Brittingham Farms. Additionally, the Sussex Tavern will be open for business and we will be featuring speakers and a special Revolutionary walking tour throughout the day
