Nonprofits may apply for inclusion in Lefty’s Nov. 28 Giving Tuesday event

Lefty’s Alley & Eats will host 10 local nonprofit organizations for a day of food, fun and the gift of a $500 donation on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28.

Nonprofits based within a 30-mile radius of Lefty’s are encouraged to apply at iloveleftys.com/giving-Tuesday. 

Each applicant must share in 500 words or less why the local nonprofit of their choosing deserves to be part of the celebration. Last year, Lefty’s Alley & Eats received more than 200 submissions from representatives, volunteers and beneficiaries.

Giving Tuesday is a day to inspire generosity among billions of people around the world to support the causes they believe in and communities they care about.

“At Lefty's, community has always been at the heart of what we do. Therefore, we are honored to recognize the local nonprofit organizations in our area that have made a significant impact on our community in various ways,” said Gary Foley, Lefty’s general manager.

The 10 selected organizations will be announced Monday, Nov. 20, on Lefty’s social media platforms.
