Simpler exceptionally qualified for RD14 seat

October 22, 2024

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for my friend and colleague, Mike Simpler, for the 14th Representative District. I believe he is exceptionally qualified and would serve our community with dedication and integrity.

As a lifelong resident of coastal Sussex County, Mike has a deep-rooted understanding of our community's needs and challenges. His extensive volunteer work with several nonprofit organizations demonstrates his commitment to making a positive impact. Mike has dedicated countless hours to Delaware Special Olympics, Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company and Rehoboth Little League, to name a few. This speaks volumes about his passion for service to others and dedication to the community in which he was born and raised.

In addition to his community involvement, Mike possesses the skills and experience necessary for effective leadership. He has a remarkable ability to listen to diverse perspectives and bring people together to inspire collective action, which I believe is essential for effective governance.

We need someone who has our local interests in mind and has the ability to work with others no matter what their affiliation may be. I believe that person is Mike Simpler. He will bring fresh ideas, unwavering commitment and a strong sense of community to the role. I encourage you to support Mike in this important endeavor, as he is what we need representing us in Dover.
