KINfolk, a charitable organization that provides laptops to children who are hospitalized or homebound, raised more than $10,000 with an art auction and wine tasting July 17 at the Cordrey Center in Millsboro. The event entertained about 150 people. The extra room for the silent auction was an added feature this year. The new executive director for KINfolk is Jazette Lane-English. The year of fundraising will conclude with a cocktail party from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Delaware Art Museum. Artists and merchants are requested to donate items for that event.
