The Shaffer Family Foundation will highlight each of the Beneficiaries for The 3rd Annual Rally for Our First Responders which will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 (rain date is Sunday, June 2, 2024) at Hudson Fields, Milton, DE.
DE Concerns of Police Survivors is one of 12 Beneficiaries!
Delaware C.O.P.S. are there for the families of officers who die in the line of duty. They pay for hotels etc., for the family to go to DC to see their loved one honored.
They provide for air fare for survivors to go to their individual retreats which are always in the middle of the country. Delaware C.O.P.S. go to court to support the family during a trial. They have a scholarship fund for the spouses and children and they provide Line of Duty training to our Law Enforcement Departments.
