SATB hosted 62 teams at Jackie Robinson Rundown, from both near and far...we see you, Mohawk Valley Vipers (from 376 miles away - Whitesboro, NY) and CT Mustangs (from 356 miles away - Brooklyn, CT)!
Jackie Robinson 2017 tournament brought sunny weather and the biggest season turnout so far at SATB! Games throughout Saturday and Sunday were played with lots of heart and teamwork, which we're certain would have made Mr. October himself quite proud. The competition came on strong in the 10U Minor division, with the White Marsh Warriors fighting for a close 3-2 victory opposite the Loudoun South Eagles Gold. 11U Major's McLean Dirt Devils slid home in the final round versus Mid Atlantic Shockers Stanley. Lower Dauphin took the 11U Minor championship title and went 5-0 over the weekend. Mid Atlantic Shockers Kimmel went hard in the 12U Major championship game with a 13-2 win over McLean Expos on Sunday. Meanwhile in 12U Minor, the Mid Atlantic Shockers Hastings maintained a 5-0 record and the lead in an 8-7 faceoff with the MD Legends. 13U Division saw another neck-and-neck 7-6 championship race between Young Guns Baseball and the CT Spartans, ultimately won by the 5-0 Spartans. Finally, the 14U trophy was awarded to All Out Baseball, who truly went all out in a 5-3 match Sunday versus the FTB Tucci Northeast.
