Chef Throw-Down at SoDel Fest

Southern Delaware Wine Food & Music Festival is excited to announce that Robbie Jester, Winner of Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay” contest recently will go head-to-head with SoDel Concepts, three-time James Beard Guest chef Doug Ruley.  North, DE  VS  South DE!   Bob Yesbek, The Rehoboth Foodie will be the host with the most and there will be three surprise judges!  How the contest works: Each chef will be given a mystery box of ingredients and will have 30 minutes to complete their plate!  Judging will be based on presentation, flavor and creativity.  At the conclusion there will be a champion crowned!

The SoDel Fest has it all - Food, Wine, Cocktails, Beer, Cigars, Music, Fundraising and FUN FUN FUN!  Proceeds from the SoDel Fest will go to Food Bank of Delaware, Children & Families First and Rotary’s Global Eradication of Polio campaign.

Don’t miss the must attend event of the season, SoDel Fest on October 8th from 12 - 4pm, at the Independence Hall & Grounds in Millsboro, DE.  The 2nd Annual event will feature over 40 wines from around the world paired with signature food selections from talented local chefs.  Music by local greats such as Keith Mack, Ed Shockley, Sol Knopf and New Jersey sensation Patty Blee!  There will be food demo’s and secrets to making craft cocktails shared.
