Give a Paw a Hand

Hello Animal Lovers,

Please help the Delaware SPCA provide essential services to animals in need. The Give a Paw a Hand fund allows the Delaware SPCA to provide free spay/neuter and veterinary services to individuals that have pets in need of a helping hand. Won't you give a paw a hand?

When animals are spayed or neutered and receive vaccinations, they are happier, healthier, live longer, and best of all, help prevent homeless animals in our community. Sadly, many individuals with pets cannot afford the cost of these services at their local veterinarian. The Delaware SPCA has a full-time veterinarian on staff that can provide these services at discounted rates. For individuals in need of extra help, the Give a Paw a Hand Fund allows us to provide these services to those individuals at greatly reduced rates or free depending on their circumstance.

The Give a Paw a Hand Fund also provides spay/neuter to the many stray and feral cats throughout the state of Delaware. Each week, the Delaware SPCA works with local rescue groups to trap, neuter and release (TNR) these cats in a variety of communities throughout the state. With money from the Give a Paw a Hand Fund we can discount our services to these rescue groups, helping them to continue the TNR work that is so desperately needed in our area.

We need your help to continue these services, as our current fund balance is dwindling and we will soon run out of money in the Give a Paw a Hand Fund. Our goal is to raise $50,000 so we can continue providing service to the individuals and animals in need. Please make your gift today to give a paw a hand! Thank you for your support!

Sincerely,

Tiffany Briddell
Interim Executive Director
