- Private group -
October 23, 2017

November Dates Have been added to our schedule. November 4th & 5th & November 18th & 19th.

These trips will be the best for viewing the foliage along the Broadkill.

Our cruise to Milton is a 3.5 to 4 hour tour (approximately 1.5 hours each way) and covers 26 miles of the Broadkill River. It leaves from Fisherman’s Wharf in Lewes and goes to the docks at Milton Memorial Park and back.
Passengers will be able to disembark for an hour to explore the town of Milton!

The Broadkill River flows for its entire length in eastern Sussex County. From Milton, the Broadkill River flows generally eastwardly, passing through wetlands and salt marshes of the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge. While we are cruising, take a moment to scan the wetlands surrounding you. These are home to hundreds of animals, many of which you might see with the naked eye and better yet, through binoculars. You will definitely want to bring your camera and your favorite beverage.

Hungry? Call ahead and order lunch from Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant on Union Street along the shore of the Broadkill River (302-684-8889). Once we reach the docks in Milton, you will disembark to pick up your lunch, look around Milton a little while and re-board our vessel for the ride home while you enjoy your lunch and favorite beverage. You will have 45 minutes while docked at Milton.
We will depart from Fisherman's Wharf in Lewes at Either 10:30am or 11:00am and return to Lewes at approximately 3:30 pm- 4:00 pm.
