Unity of Rehoboth Beach welcomes all to the discussion of Harry Potter and the 12 Powers. This week we will discuss the Power of Zeal or Enthusiasm and the Harry Potter character associated with Zeal is, of course, Dobby the House Elf. The Spiritual Power of Zeal is important to move us forward through our ‘opportunities for growth.’ Without it, we would not move forward, but stay stuck ‘in the valley of the shadow’ not know where to go or what to do.
Zeal or enthusiasm help to get us moving forward. It gives us life to the fullest. And Dobby certainly did live his life with zeal, once freed from his ‘family.’ Think about that, even though his ‘family’ was not a blood relation, they controlled him to the point of absolute fear and sometimes, self-mutilation! Some of us, maybe not that extreme, but we let our families control us.
Join us as we look at this Power and how it can help to free us.
