Rally For Our First Responders
COMMUNITY HELPING COMMUNITY ONE RALLY AT A TIME!
Darren and Kyle Shaffer, residence of Lewes and other close friends felt there was a void in the Community to come together and Give Thanks and Help Raise Money for Our Local First Responders. They decided to Create the Shaffer Family Foundation to help Fuel this goal and to help raise money for Our First Responders and expedite the donations, while affording a tax deduction to generous supporters.
The Shaffer Family Foundation is a subsidiary of the Greater Lewes Foundation's 501(c)(3).
The Shaffer Family Foundation is committed to donating all proceeds collected to the various benefeciaries. Only actual expenses are deducted from the total amount collected. No management fees are taken by any committee member.
The Shaffer Family Foundation has Successfully raised along with the Generous Community $153K year to date and hoping to reach $100K at the 3rd Annual Rally For Our First Responders which will take place on Saturday June 1 (rain date, Sunday, June 2) from Noon-6pm (gates open at 11:30am)
