Celebrate July 3rd with a spectacular fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale – launched from the beach, south of Rehoboth Avenue and visible up and down the boardwalk and beach at approximately 9:15 p.m.

When you watch the fireworks in front of our $20,000 Premier Sponsor, Harry K Jewelry, you will be treated to a special fireworks display directly on the beach!

Please be in town early! Depending on weather, the fireworks may be launched any time after 8:00 p.m.

Easy Parking and Transportation

It is strongly recommended that you use the DART PARK & RIDE to travel into downtown.

Premier Parking at Epworth Church:

19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach

$20 per vehicle (parking includes Jolly Trolley bus transport to and from downtown Rehoboth Beach).

Parking fees must be paid in cash. Lot opens at 6:00 p.m. Parking spaces are available on a first-come first-served basis (approximately 300 spaces).

A portion of the proceeds benefit the Rehoboth Beach Sunrise Rotary Club.

In Town Options Include:

North Rehoboth Deauville Lot – Fee per car until lot is filled.

Metered and non-metered fee permit parking spaces throughout town.

The Jolly Trolley:

The Jolly Trolley will be operating the daily Jolly Trolley Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach shuttle services, in full schedule, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. with use of the complete Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach fixed route from/to the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, to/from South Dewey Beach, at Dickinson Street on the bay. Traffic delays are expected after the fireworks display. For more information visit www.jollytrolley.com.

Traffic Advisory and Road Closures

The fireworks will be launched from the beach at Laurel Street at approximately 9:15 p.m.

The Bandstand will be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:00 p.m. until midnight.

Vehicles will not be able to cross Rehoboth Avenue at the circle beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Rehoboth Avenue E/B and Church Street from SR1 will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 8:30 p.m. All vehicles will have to enter Rehoboth Beach via State Road or Bayard Avenue.

All traffic north of Rehoboth Avenue should exit Rehoboth Beach via Columbia Avenue and Rehoboth Avenue.

All traffic south of Rehoboth Avenue should exit Rehoboth Beach via Bayard Avenue S/B (SR1 S/B traffic only) or via Hickman Street and Munson Street W/B to State Road to SR1 N/B and S/B.

Residents in Henlopen Acres and North Shores and on Henlopen Avenue will access their residence via First Street beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Only bus and resident traffic will be allowed on Henlopen Avenue beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Only bus traffic will be allowed on Surf Avenue beginning at 6:00 p.m.

There will be entertainment at the bandstand. The Funsters will be performing from 8:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. prior to the fireworks and then again until 11:00 p.m. following the fireworks. For more information visit www.rehobothbandstand.com

The 2016 Rehoboth Beach Fireworks is a collaborative effort among Rehoboth Beach Main Street, Zambelli Pyrotechnical Team, the City of Rehoboth Beach, Rehoboth Beach Police Department, Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department, Delaware State Police, DelDOT, DART, Sussex County EMS, U.S. Coast Guard, State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Rehoboth Beach Lifeguards.
