Wonders of yoga are truly amazing

Swami Nirmalananda translates an ancient yoga text as “The Wonders of yoga are truly amazing.”  She goes on to say, “While the benefits of meditation, and even the benefits of doing yoga poses, are well recognized, the documentation is mostly about physical improvements. Yet, the most powerful changes are inside, the opening of your heart, your mind, and your experience of your own Divinity. The stages and experiences that blossom forth along the way are predictable, as yoga works its wonder FOR you, and IN you. It is truly amazing.”

This is so true. Let me see if I can paint a picture for you of what this means.

Most of you have done some yoga poses in your life. I know that if you have been doing Svaroopa® Yoga, your body feels so wonderful afterwards. Once you finish the final Shavasana, you are blissed out – so content. Everything and everyone seems to be just fine. Problems seem far away.

Wouldn’t you like to be able to take that special feeling with you always?  You can!  Experience the bliss – this is the promise of yoga and meditation.
