Your Disease Doesn’t Define Your Destiny…

It’s not about your Depression, your Despair, your Depravity or even your Terminal or Addictive Disease, it’s about what you truly believe.

I work up this morning mourning from yesterday’s rejections wanting to stay in the bed using the warm blankets as a barrier from the world.  The funny part is the world didn’t disappoint me yesterday, I had disappointed myself.  I had allowed my own insecurities to give me misinformation about myself believing in my brokenness instead of his faithfulness.

You see believing is a doorway to truth and life or depression and death.  The problem is that most of us have been living on decaying dreams.  We’ve watched our dreams lifeblood drain out of our hearts leaving us empty of faith for something better.

It is so tempting to stop training, straining to be more, easier to just give up, continue complaining, remaining forever poor.  I know life’s not fair and people don’t care, which is our excuse for excluding ourselves from life.  Choosing the road of victim relieves us from responsibility to rise above personal strife.

I know how hard it is to resist lying down with the lies because the truth illuminates our insanity.  When you’ve been living lost you fear being found, abandoned by humanity.

We fail to understand our own intimacy is not to be ignored.  Our potential is in the power of our own belief in who we are and were created to be.  We’ve adopted the disguise of the self-deceived choosing a life of disparity.

Our greatest weakness he makes our mightiest strength through humility we become whole.  The hardest part is taking back our dreams and recovering the hopes the enemy stole.  Faith is indeed a frightening thing because it causes us to face our fears.  Acknowledging what’s underneath the addictions, and abuse will bring freedom in this new year.

The disease deceives imprinting on our mind creating a false identity.  Our personality or purpose becomes infected with failure redefining reality.  Tomorrow never comes because the present is lived in the past where fear is eternal and hope never lasts.

To be free has become a fantasy afraid to pay the price and make a sacrifice for our soul we need to give up control.  We have to face the facts do we want to live a life with more or one that lacks.

Investing in promises instead of problems requires a recycling of the mind.  We’ve been brainwashed by the world to be bitter instead of kind.  The heart requires hope to hold true to our dreams.  When we stop believing we fall prey to the devil’s schemes.

This all sounds so poetic but I don’t want the message to get lost in the rhymes.  Motivation needs to be consistent to make a real change for once this time.  Breaking through deception is simple when we identify the lies.  We have to stop believing we are worthless, ugly, stupid everything we despise!

The sabotage is in our soul that holds the core of what we believe to be true.  The insidious plot against our purpose is the conspiracy we need to push through.  The trials, the tests, the mountains we must climb, makes us stronger as we endure making miracles each time.

I says this now and I will say it again we are not meant to be sick in misery.  A war is being waged for the sanity of your soul to be a failure to be free.  So will you fight for your own freedom this year, to be once lost but now found, or will you allow your faith to fall, your dreams to die, with purpose buried beneath the ground?
