Starting Friday, Jan. 13, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society's Cinema Art Theater will present “Elle,” a thriller that continually defies expectations.

Michèle (Isabelle Huppert) seems indestructible. Head of a leading video game company, she brings the same ruthless attitude to her love life as to business. Being attacked in her home by an unknown assailant changes Michèle's life forever. When she resolutely tracks down the man, they are both drawn into a curious and thrilling game - a game that may, at any moment, spiral out of control.

Screening times are 1 and 4 p.m., Jan. 13; 7 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14; 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 15; and 1 and 4 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 18 and 19. Tickets can be purchased at the Cinema Art Theater, starting 30 minutes prior to each screening. Admission for a screening is $8 for film society members and $10 for nonmembers. All screenings are held at the Cinema Art Theater, 17701 Dartmouth Drive in Dartmouth Plaza, behind the Lewes Wawa.
